As an amateur photographer, DeepPRIME will allow you to compensate for the drawbacks of small sensors in compact and bridge cameras that produce digital noise even at low ISO sensitivities. If you are an expert photographer, DxO DeepPRIME will open up a world of new possibilities by enabling you to shoot at very high sensitivities.

Transitions are smoother and more natural, and you gain nearly two ISO sensitivity values compared to our earlier version, DxO PRIME, the benchmark software for all comparable programs currently available. DxO DeepPRIME removes noise and renders photographic information without reducing color detail. But with DxO DeepPRIME we've combined them to achieve even better results. Try it out - the results speak for themselves.ĭemosaicing and denoising are usually two separate processes. The first artificial intelligence-based (AI) technology of its kind, DeepPRIME enables you to demosaic and denoise images simultaneously. But with DxO DeepPRIME we are breaking new ground. Reducing digital noise in RAW images is an ongoing challenge for most photo-editing software. Take control on every aspect of your photos: effectively remove noise, get rid of light constraints, recover color details, apply sophisticated optical corrections, and enhance details. Manual focus tele lens techniques with m4/3 for birds and BIF's I think i stil download DxO v11 just to get the feel of it. Sp8 does have nice new things also but i am jumping one version i think. id like the auto correction (preset) of sp7pro based on used ISO as a starting point ( i am still a little in the dark about all those noise types in SP7pro.?) (sp7pro don't have auto dehaze or lens/viewpoint correction with one slider, you have to actually know what to do and use different tools to get it right.) Noise reduction, clearview, lens distortion correction. It is free but you don't get the things why i looked at this app in the first place. version 11 is faster, but I expect the Essentials don't have ELITE NR, which is, why I use DxO in the first place.

What does it have that DXO Optics Pro 9 doesn't have? That's what I've got and I wonder if there's anything in this new offering that might be useful.? I would still be using it except they never really discounted to anything like Black Friday prices that happen on other software.Īlso our Oz$ to Yen rates have varied all over the place making it quite expensive at times. In any eye-burning pixel-peeping contest, DxO always wins but Silkypix is definitely a very close 2nd tier. Upgraded with that to now V11 as soon as the upgrades became available when they are cheapest. At the same time DxO was offering V9 (I think) at a heavily discounted price so tried it and liked it and bought it.

Very helpful support via email when needed.īut come time to upgrade from V5 to V6 I hesitated at the price. Hard to read user manual but has excellent information when seeking help on a particular feature. An amazing range of controls but hidden behind unfamiliar names at times. I like Silkypix as easy to use and always good results. Guy, I think you used to use Silkypix, as I do and am wondering what was the main reason for changing.
